All About the Dale

Thus it goes without saying, Glaudell's new solo road show is filled with music, mirth, and mishegas from an entertainer with over 40 years of show business under his guitar strap. He just finished an extended reunion tour with Mid-south Wisconsin regional favorites, Checkered Past. As such, Dale has been the "guy standing in the middle" for such a long time, he's got a parking space there.

Impresario Solo Imperfect-ico

Playing solo can sometime mean background music only, and he can do that of course. But he revels in center-of-attention-ist music where the audience gets to participate, ruminate, dedicate and appreciate right along with our host. Along with great songs, comes tales from the road, antidotes, music trivia and bad jokes. (he says NO to balloon animals) Hard to believe that such a polite, introverted guy can turn it on like that. Yet, once he's behind the guitar, anything can happen.

Of course, at the end of the day and the end of the road, it's really all about the music. And a whole lot of it. He plans to incorporate at least 100 songs in his repertoire, as a human juke box of sorts. "Sometimes you have to be prepared for any sort of clientele in an audience, and it helps to have plenty of tools in your utility belt", he tell us..
